Harrison Acosta recently completed his BA Capstone entitled “Capturing Moments in Music feat. The Human Voice.” Originally studying orchestral performance and film score at the UCF School of Performing Arts, he now studies composition, game sound design and music theory in preparation for graduate school. Aside from being a professional arranger and contractor for The Vocal Company, he performs with ECA as professional singer in the Orlando area and with Universal as a singer and actor.

After directing UCF’s oldest all-male a cappella group – The Crescendudes – he founded UCF’s award-winning, competitive a cappella group Voicebox. Under his musical direction, Voicebox has been crowned the 2016 SoJam Champions, performed as a showcase performer for the Betsy A Cappella Festival in both 14' 15' and 17', as a guest for NBC’s The Sing Off Live Tour, on the 2016 ICCA Finals stage and has recently been crowned the 2018 BOSS Champions.

Harrison has also been awarded most outstanding arrangement a total of nine times - including at the ICCA Finals, Varsity Vocal Open, BOSS and SoJam Competitions for his entire set. Harrison also has received most outstanding choreo twice, shares a CARA for Best Electronic/Experimental Song and received the "You Did That" award at the Boston Sings competition - recognizing execution of theme, arrangement and lighting design. He recently also formed R E M I X which was also awarded most outstanding arrangement at this past year's a cappella Open. R E M I X is a post collegiate group comprised of several singers from all over the southern a cappella scene.
